Some days I feel like I should have become a psychologist or a psychiatrist. People are always telling me their problems, at least that way I'd be getting paid for it. Hmm, I wonder what my mother would think of that...
It will never cease to amaze me that in today's world, there are still so many people out there that will complain incessantly about their jobs. Let it go, already! If what is bothering you will not be a worry to you five years from now - if it won't even matter to you by then, don't let it bother you now. Let it roll away like water off a duck's back. Do your best at what you do. If it's not good enough, learn what you need to do to improve or fix it, or find another line of work.
Life's too short to worry and be crabby. Be happy so people around you don't have to wallow in your misery with you.
What I really said: "Hey - be happy you have a job. Some people don't have a job to complain about!"
Do you think I may have been a little too blunt? Thank God I'm not in Human Resources!
